Life's changes and your pension

There are a number of life events that can affect your pension. This section tells what some of those events are and what you need to know. For example, you'll find information on what happens if you:

• become disabled,
• receive Workers' Compenstation benefits,
• experience a breakdown in your marital relationship,
• file for personal bankruptcy,
• take a leave of absence, or
• participate in a deferred salary leave plan (if available to you).
